S’mores Overnight Oats | The Almond Eater
These 5 minutes, 6 ingredient S’mores Overnight Oats are perfect for breakfast and even dessert! They’re filled with chocolate, graham crackers and yogurt for a healthy alternative to s’mores.

Who doesn’t love a good s’mores recipe? Mhmm, my thoughts exactly. This s’mores overnight oats recipe is SO easy but I still felt the need to share it with you, because easy recipes=my jam and your jam.
I was actually just talking to someone about how usually, the easiest TAE recipes are the most made recipes, which makes sense, really. Though I love sharing fancy cake recipes (speaking of which, I’m long overdue for a cake recipe! Or at least I’ve been feeling that way. Time to start testing again!), they’re not going to be made by my readers nearly as often as, say, overnight oats (minus this recipe, which has been made a few times—hooray!).
I’m not going to lie, these s’mores overnight oats are a little more dessert-y and a little less breakfast-y, but that’s ok, right? Regardless of the time of day you eat them, they come together in about FIVE minutes, so there’s really no excuse not to make them.

You start with mixing old fashioned oats and cocoa powder together, then you add the milk (I used almond milk, but any milk will work) and maple syrup. The topping is simply yogurt topped with crushed graham crackers, or, if you’re like me and you don’t “do” yogurt, you can combine yogurt with some mascarpone cheese for a less healthy, way more delicious alternative. Also! If you want to make these vegan, simply use a dairy free yogurt instead. Easy as that!
Though eggs are my number one breakfast choice, overnight oats are my second most eaten breakfast because they’re easy and I can make them the night before. Heck, I can even take them to-go if I want to eat my breakfast at the barre studio and/or Starbucks, which I’ve totally done before. Heh, just trying to save money over here ya know.
Ok hopefully you’re convinced you need to give these 5 minute, 6 ingredient s’mores overnight oats a try TOMORROW. Remember to tag @thealmondeater on Instagram if you do!
S’mores Overnight Oats

- 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ¼ cup plain yogurt*
- 1-2 tbsp crushed graham crackers
- Optional: 2 tbsp dark chocolate, chopped
- Combine oats and cacao in a jar and set aside.
- Mix milk and syrup together in a bowl and then pour over oats; stir to combine.
- Place yogurt on top and then then put the oats in the refrigerator over night, or for at least two hours.
- Remove from refrigerator, sprinkle with crushed graham crackers and dark chocolate and enjoy!
*Use dairy free yogurt for vegan option. Alternatively, if you don’t love yogurt (I feel like I’m the only person who doesn’t…), you can use 2 tbsp yogurt and 2 tbsp mascarpone cheese instead. It makes this a bit sweeter and it’s oh so good!
